UWOhopeful7
Hey guys, I need some serious advice. My current stats are 3.69 (with the worst year removed - 4th year applicant) and RC 23, PAT 20, AA 20, and MDT 29. Should I apply with these stats and settle with American schools/Australia ($$ ) or take a 5th year, get my GPA up to ~3.75, redo to the DAT, and aim for a Canadian school? Cause that means I need to wait practically 2 years until I'm admitted, and take another year of undergrad, and my chances might still be pretty low…. Help Anyone's 2 cents is appreciated. Unfortunately a 3.75 isn't competitive enough for Canadian schools. I would recommend applying to the US. Don't worry about the debt, you can pay it back once you're a dentist. Lebron James
What province are you in? 3.75 is just barely competitive for Alberta (if you're IP). With a good DAT and interview, you would have a chance.
