Wrong dates in OMSAS sketch

I just realized that there's a mistake in my application (i.e. I put the wrong dates for one of my volunteering jobs). However, the people at OMSAS said that the universities may not take the correction e-mail I sent them it into consideration.

 

Has anyone dealt with this situation?

hi...I'm sort of the in the same situation. I wrote I would be starting an activity in Oct. but will start in Nov. I emailed omsas and they said it doesn't matter to med schools as long as i intended to start...but just seems not quite right to me...i mean if they call the verifier the verifier will say no i started in nov....ah well. Do you know if the applications have been forwarded to the schools? and if not i hoped they would make the correction.

Mine hasn't been forwarded yet I think because only two of my three reference letters have been verified so far...

 

As for correcting, I talked to UofT and Queen's, and they both let me send direct e-mails. McMaster basically said "too bad". I haven't been able to reach Ottawa.
