OTpros
Hi everyone, I am new here. I have been considering applying for OT but I am worried my gpa may not be competitive. I have a sub gpa (last 10 credits) of 3.65-3.66 (still waiting on some grades to come in) and I am applying to Western, UofT, Mac, Queens and Mcgill. What do you think is that a competitive gpa for the schools I am applying to? Regards,
Mhunte03
I would think you have a relatively good chance at UofT and Queen's if you have good experience and strong essays, resume and LOR's. McGill looks at cum GPA (and other application components) for an interview and McMaster's cutoff for interviews have been increasingly high but my GPA was slightly lower than yours and I received an invite to McGill and Mac's MMI's so you definitely have a good shot in terms of getting to the interview stage. Hope that helps
