Alberta Pt Out Of Province Cut-Offs

Is anyone aware of the past cut-offs for interviews of out of province students at U of A's PT?

They say the average competitive is around 3.5. My guess is if you have a 3.5 they are likely to view your application

Last year's OOP cut off for U of A was 3.9 but I was wait listed for an interview and accepted with a 3.88, so there's hope if you're just under. I got this info from the email they sent me following the interview notifications so it's straight from the source:)

Thank you for the replies! I'll be applying with a 3.85GPA, do you think it's worth applying? Also, on the application, it asks if you've corresponded with anyone from the department of physical therapy... are they asking if you've communicated with anyone?

I had a 3.75 gpa (on a 4.0 scale) and got an interview off the waitlist.

I was first on the waitlist for OOP to get acceptance but unfortunately I didn't get in.

It's definitely worth a shot! I think you're interpreting the "correspondence" question correctly. They're pretty big on professionalism, so I wouldn't be surprised if they're judging you from before you've even applied
