Msc In Occupational & Environmental Hygiene (Oeh)

Hello everyone, I got accepted into the OEH program at UBC and I was wondering if there was anyone here who knows about this program. I was told that it was essentially about safety in the workplace; is that correct? 

 

This MSc is unique in that it is a professional master's so there is a licensing exam at the end of this program and a project is mandatory. However, one can substitute a project for a thesis instead. Can anyone share some experience in either of them?

 

Sorry for all these questions. It seems like a rather unknown master's program and there weren't a lot of resources other than the UBC website.

Congrats on your acceptance! You would usually work as an Occupational hygienist/Industrial hygienist.
