Guest Lisa88
Hi everyone, Like many, I am waiting (anxiously) to hear whether or not I will accepted into med school. Each school requires first aid certification. Does anyone know how/where to sign up for a class and how long it takes? Is anyone else interested in taking a class in the Mississauga or Toronto area? Thnx
Guest UofCMeds2005
St John Ambulance is the place to go. They have a website and the number should be in the phone book. I think the basic first responder and level C CPR (which is what you should have) is a weekend course (7hrs/day give or take).
Guest MayFlower1
Hi Lisa, Here's the main link for St. John Ambulance. To find an office near you click here. Email me at peterhill16@hotmail.com if you have any trouble finding a course near you and I'll see if I can get you in touch with the right person. Guest mying
For your interest, there's a discussion on this subject here: pub125.ezboard.com/fpreme...ID=9.topic Also, for courses in Toronto: www.sja.ca/toronto and Mississauga www.sja-mississauga.ca In Ontario, you're looking for Standard First Aid & Basic Rescuer CPR. It's cheaper and shorter if you take both at the same time. Hope you (or someone) finds that helpful.
