Guest dogeatdog12
unfortunately, universities want five full year credits for the sept/may schedule.
Guest aneliz
UWO will not allow you to use 4 credits during the year +1 in the summer as a full year...you must do all five credits during the regular year for the year to count as a full-time year for GPA purposes. As long as you drop a course before the deadline, it should have no effect on you...it usually disappears off your transcript entirely and the schools will have no idea that you ever took it. However, if you don't drop in time and it remains on your transcript as a fail or withdrawal with penalty and then you repeat it, this can cause trouble at UWO. UWO will not allow you to count any year in which you repeat a course you have already taken as a full time year unless you are taking a full 5.0 course load of new courses in addition to the one that you are repeating. Guest JimmyDragon
when is the drop date usually? is it 3/4 of the wa threw the course?
Guest peachy
That depends very much on the university - some places the drop date is the second week of class, others it is indeed 3/4 of the way through the course.
