chromeboker
Just looking at the AFMC portal and I can't find any info as to WHEN you can apply for electives? Ex. 6,7, or 8 months early. The specific school websites don't give any info anymore because it says 'see portal'. Any recent CaRMS veterans have any advice on this? Thanks! redmarshmallow
UBC opens nine months before, and some electives do fill up within the first weeks after the opening of applications... Dal also opens nine months before. For the other schools, three to six months is a reasonable time frame, but keep in mind that for the most popular electives, it's always best to apply early to secure a spot. hopeful_med
If I wanted to apply for electives between 2nd and 3rd year summer, when would I apply?
LittleDaisy
Are you going to be considered a clerk the summer between 2nd and 3rd year? Make sure that your home school will provide you with the malpractice insurance. 4 or 7 months before the desired elective date according to the AFMC student portal for most schools If I wanted to apply for electives between 2nd and 3rd year summer, when would I apply?
