Spartacus
I'm just speculating here but I think that online courses are likely fine for most Canadian medical schools. For one, I have never heard/read that too many (or any) online courses are frowned upon by admissions. More importantly, admissions has no way of comparing the difficulty of peoples courses. For all they know the online course you took is much more difficult than the course someone else took at their school. As a result, they likely treat all courses equally. Hence why schools generally claim to give no preference/advantage to any undergraduate program. So long as the online courses you take aren't all first year courses while you are in 3rd/4th year I would bet it's fine. I took online courses throughout undergrad and received interviews at most of the places I applied, not that my history really means much haha. I think it's fine but the only people who know for certain are probably those who are part of admission committees. Maybe send them an email and see what they think.
