Different Surgery Programs of Canada

I was just wondering if any of you have comments about different general surgery programs in canada. And I'm curious what I should ask residents or program director so that I can get a good idea on what the differences are among the programs...

That's an interesting question, especially in light of your similar post in the other forum, professing your love of Internal Medicine. Sounds like you're really covering the bases. :lol

 

For any series of programs, the best place to start looking is the CaRMS website, as well as the individual program websites (with their varying levels of usefulness). Often times programs will provide contact information for current residents who are willing to answer questions. If the differences between the programs aren't immediately apparent, then you can start inquiring about how each distinguishes themselves from the others.
