Guest KiT
When it comes time for final selection, I was wondering if anyone knew the weightings assigned to the academic assessment (GPA), autobiographical submission, interview and confidential assessments respectively. As far as I can find, the Mac web-site only says that they are all considered (bottom of www-fhs.mcmaster.ca/mdpro...ction.htm) Any insight would be greatly appreciated. all the best,
Guest Beth
This is how I think it works: Everyone on the selection team sits down and they discuss each applicant. All aspects of the application are considered, but none of them are weighted. They look at the whole picture and then decide if the applicant should get in. Basically, the answer to your question is that there in no weighting for the different parts
Guest macmed
Overall there are hundreds of people involved in the selection process. I'm not positive how it works, but I know you get a score from each person and they are all added together with 50% weight to interview, and 25% each to written and group exercises.
