adam4343
Should I repeat the DAT with applying to Western in mind due to my low RC? (i Have a 88% gpa) Previous DAT: BIO 22 Chem 19 RC 18 PAT 21 AA 20 TS
Super Nova
Definitely would not hurt to re-write. You can always apply with those scores and re-write while waiting and see what happens. I believe with your current DAT, you are borderline judging by the stats that people have shared for Western

It never hurts to rewrite it (other than the price) but if you get a better score it can always improve your chances
Futbol99
What if your score goes down? does western look at best or most recent? I always thought that writing in Nov could hurt your chances for the current cycle (assuming you go down).

Waves
Yeah it's most recent. Also in the past the RC cutoff has been 19, which means you should probably rewrite. I'm not sure if they still have cutoffs though.
761349
I agree that the scores are borderline in some regards. Remember to work on problem areas and not to rush into the next exam. Multiple writes would not look too good on your application.

I didn't have time to practice for RC, also still don't really know what I should use to practice RC and the strategy I should go about doing it. I just simply read it and then solved questions, but had like 7 minutes for 3rd passage and just frantically guessed. Any tips?
Super Nova
haha 7 minutes for the 3rd passage, damn. I have kind of gotten accustomed to how long i should spend on each passage without looking at the time. I think that just comes with practice.
