Guest willg
Do you know if you are required (or perhaps sounds better) to speak in formal english? For example...is it ok to say " I've done many things in my life " versus " I have done many things in my life" Sorry to be so trivial and paranoid here
Guest applicant
Overall, I'm stickin' to formal english. Yet, I have abbreviated, as in "PBL" and "postdoc" to save space. I would be uncomfortable with "I've" in my essay. But, I'm no authority...
