Based on the spreadsheet, I imagine no one has heard from Saskatchewan neuro? It’s crazy looking at old spreadsheets when they generally sent invites quite early, and it’s almost January.

Ugh that's so tough. I've heard from people who did electives at a school (in one case even two!) with great feedback, and they got waitlsited/declined. So you're definitely not alone, and that's a particularly discouraging situation. I'd say it doesn't hurt to contact them and re-express your interest, the worst thing that happens is you stay in the same spot on the waitlist. Hope you get an invite as people may cancel!

Heya! Requesting a change is perfectly ok to do. I just requested a date change today and was granted it, just be polite and friendly in your request. Programs understand that you may be interviewing at many different places and that time is very limited. For the second point, I'm fairly sure you can do this, but do try to cancel as soon as you know that you won't attend, as it may give another applicant a chance at the interview slot. Also keep in mind a lot of program coordinators may take vacation in late December, so the sooner you can cancel, the better.
