Mal
Hi everyone, A colleague of mine helped put together a workshop about dealing with rejection in academia. It's free and I thought some people might find it helpful See below for details: What To Do When the Answer is No: A workshop on dealing with rejection in post-secondary and building resiliency Medical school, graduate school and grant applications all take time, effort, and dedication. But, the highly competitive nature of these applications can leave you feeling drained and hopeless, especially if the answer is no. This workshop will address how to deal with feelings of rejection and grief, and give students an opportunity to share their experiences. We will also discuss taking the next steps after a rejection, including how to identify your skills, proactively plan, and build resiliency for the future. Join graduate students Madeleine Wiebe and Brianna Greenwood September 30th on Zoom from 2-4PM by filling out this form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfXjzZxtCw-wLll4jrPd0aQY1kOWN5vQ22awYCAopl6xqrPlw/viewform?usp=sf_link This event is hosted in partnership with the Office of Advocacy & Wellbeing, Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry.
