CardiacArrhythmia
Not surprised, but still interesting, that the average accepted GPA for MAC, Ottawa, and UofT have been steady for the past 3-4 years.
la marzocco
For those applying to the 4 Quebec schools, it may be helpful to note that the number of spots in the first-year class has been reduced: Laval went from 228 spots to 218 spots (a 10-spot reduction). Sherbrooke went from 207 spots to 199 spots (a 8-spot reduction). Montreal went from 200 spots to 191 spots (a 9-spot reduction). McGill went from 184 spots to 175 spots (a 9-spot reduction). So.. in total, Quebec schools have reduced an aggregate of 36 spots for those entering Fall 2018.

Especially since it is the ROC that seems to be having the most problems with students going unmatched whereas Quebec already has a ridiculous amount of unfilled FM spots (the problem here has more to do with jobs than residency spots). The provincial health Minister has already said earlier this year there'll be reduction in the spots for the next 2 years too. It was supposed to be a global reduction of about 50-55 places after the 3 consecutive years cutting down the admissions to QC's faculties of Medicine.
