Bonsoir,
Thanks for your comment. I was looking into this again on the CARMS website but I can't seem to find it the data you mentioned. I came close, but it doesn't specify which school in the graph!
Could you guide me in the right direction please!
Afaik if you're equivalent to CMGs, there is no harm as long as you pass (which you probably will quite easily if you're prepped for Step 2 CK already). You also can just take it after the CaRMS deadline - your Step 2 CK knowledge would still be pretty good and the score won't affect your CaRMS chances
Is that full $200K in a LOC? If you have any Ontario student loans there is a resident loan interest relief program (https://www.ontario.ca/page/resident-loan-interest-relief-program) requiring ROS. On the national loan you only pay back the principle in monthly payments. I'd recommend verifying if you have any tuition tax credits - those have been really helpful personally in paying off the LOC.
Hello!
Thanks that is reassuring! When people say not to incur more debt, does that include loans payments? Or just to live off a PGY1 salary? Interest on my LOC alone is killing me at $1000/mo...
