Guest CalicoKal
Hello everyone! I'm starting to think about what I might do next year if I don't get pulled off a waitlist this summer. Not having any solid back up plans, I'm not sure if formal education is still possible at this point. I finished my undergrad this year, and I didn't enrol in anything for the fall. Is it acceptible to work for the next year, or will an admissions committee look more favourably on a candidate who did more schooling? If my UofT gpa for my four years is something close to 3.87-3.90 do I really NEED to do more school? Anyone who has successfully reapplied, I'd love your input... I am thinking about microbiology or biochemistry as my major, with equal interest in both. Will a biochemistry be considered more "rigorous"? 2) What is your stance on doing a degree in five years, (I plan on doing a minor in arts), while still taking five courses each term? Will this be a disfavour towards my chances of admission? Thank you! ~immernoch
