How to parallel plan with limited elective weeks?

Recommended Posts

Hello, I am a student interested in internal medicine and neurology. I have a limited number weeks of electives before Carms and many are before my Medicine core rotation. I am wondering if it is realistic for me to apply to both neurology and internal medicine and get interviews. I'd like to stay in Ontario and I am truly interested in both so I am reluctant to go "all in" for neurology but I hear this is what is required to get interviews for this field.

Suggestions for planning out clerkship electives would be appreciated.
