Just had a couple questions:

 

1) Do students bring laptops or do students get notes in advance?

 

2) As a med student, at least in first year, do you need to do a lot of printing (wondering whether to get a laser printer or ink )

Hi there,

 

In our year, some of us toted laptops to class but the majority did not. Many lecture notes were provided in advance, but some were not, i.e., either we received them after the lecture or they were uploaded to the course site that morning.

Go for the laser. If things stay relatively the same in terms of lecture format, you'll be doing a schwack of printing. Might save you some $$ in ink cartriges in the end...
