annakara10
The CaRMs program descriptions stated a minimum score for the MCCEE and states the minimum score required for an interview invite. Now that that has been phase out, does anyone have an idea of what QE1 score would be required for an invite? Just a guesstimate, I know there is no published data yet. IMG2015
In my opinion, It's hard to tell, at least till we get the results of the first round. I wonder also if the reason why the programs did not mention a minimum score to be invited to an interview for IMGs for QE1 while at the same time mentioning a 412 minimum score in NAC OSCE ( note that both exams underwent major changes recently and only few sessions for both took place ) is due to the discrepancy in scoring between the IMGs and CMGs in the QE1 while the NAC OSCE is only taken by the IMGs Anyone have any insight on that ? Intrepid86
Scores on the MCCEE which were considered "competitive" for CaRMS were those in the 95th percentile (2 standard deviations above average). I don't know what the cut-off score for QE1 is to be considered for an interview, but my guess is that the scores of those IMGs who actually match would be similarly high as before.
