For everyone still looking for furniture to outfit their new pads, I've found an excellent source for great second hand stuff. This lady sells furniture and appliances that she removes from houses she remodels, and it's all in very good condition and affordable. She even has some lovely antiques (if you're in to that stuff). You'll have to make your way out into the townships (bus 1A if I remember) but it's well worth the trip. She’ll even have what you buy delivered to you for about $10 (make sure you say you’re a student, since she charges more to others).
