thereadr
hey guys, i've been really swamped with work over the last few months and with COVID, i just don't think i can retake the exam this summer. i got 126 CARS when i took the exam a few years ago. my plan was to apply in 2020 after getting a graduate degree to increase my gpa, as well as as my work/life experience. i have a 3.55 gpa (if lowest year is dropped + 4.0 masters gpa counted as a single year). considering this, should i apply this year with my old mark (126CARS)? or wait until next year? regardless, i will be applying in 2021, but just wanted to see if there's any point in applying in 2020 as well. i know my GPA is terrible, but i do believe i have above average ECs and Top 10s, as well as solid references. i think the make it or break it for me is my CARS score... i'm IP btw and ucalgary is my best shot at a Canadian medical school. would love any/all feedback, thank you so much!
