LYMed
I asked the same question to McGill students and unfortunately, you have to do your clerkship in Outaouais as well. futuredoc43 and Psychi 1

I’m hesitating between Outaouais and UdeM so I’m questioning the same aspects of McGill Outaouais as you are ! Psychi

Or would it be possible to do years 1 and 2 at Outaouais and years 3 and 4 (clerkship) at Montreal? I believe most of your clerkship has to be completed in OUT, but you still have opportunities to have some rotation in different hospital centers / regions. The faculty is very accommodating and open minded. Don't see it as a downside necessarily....in fact you'll get a hell lot more exposure / task / experience over there since there are no hierarchies of residents of med students with the opening of this brand new campus. You'll also be able to create stronger bonds with you supervisors (better for letters of recs and internships) futuredoc43, LYMed and Psychi

I think I might have a chance at Outaouais but don’t wanna start stressing about Out vs UdeM for no reason lol

Definitely worth giving a call / emailing the faculty. Psychi

J’ai un ami qui est dans les premiers sur la LA Mtl et qui veut ce campus, et il laisserait donc lui aussi sa place en Outa! Je pense que tu as de bonnes chances, bravo et je pense que la waitlist est mise à jour manuellement! MedGoal2021
