DAT carving: How many middle saddle notch is possible?

What's the max number of "mid saddle notch" we are asked to carve on the real exam? 1 or 2?

Last exam i believe there was 3 if i remember correctly.

I would think max number is 2

I got 2 for the Nov 2005 DAT- they were side by side.

 

I think its possible, though rare to get 3 saddles: 2 on one side and 1 on the bottom. It doesn't hurt to over prep for carving so you can go into the exam supremely confident in your abilities . :hat

I can't imagine having more than 2 saddles. That's the number I had to carve for the 2004 november DAT. :hat
