unarmed walrus
I expect this would be very specialty-dependent, but does anyone have insight into this? E.g., if a program has 10 positions, how far down their rank list of applicants do they typically have to go to fill those 10 positions? bearded frog
Different for every school/program. Basically inversely proportional to their competitiveness. Rural FM may have to go far down their list and perhaps might have unmatched spots for the second round, whereas I assume like Toronto derm gets who they choose. As above... if you are going for FM, you will more likely to be the chooser in terms of where you would like to go, but if you are going for plastics/derm, the program will be the chooser...It really depends on competitiveness of program.
