short_stack Posted January 20, 2023 Report Share Posted January 20, 2023 Hi everyone, As we approach CaRMS interview time, still happening virtually this year, I’ve been thinking about what the background behind where we interview should look like. I’m planning to be seated in front of a wall, but my student affairs office has suggested some things of interest can be in your background if it’s not distracting, based on which I thought some photos or artwork might be appropriate. What do you think? If any selection committee members have conducted interviews virtually and seen such a display could comment on what their impression of this is, that would be great. I am probably going to go with a completely white wall. However, I have heard people having some small things in the background and it actually triggering a question from the panel, so if you do have something in the background be ready to discuss since they might ask about it!
