I dont go to UBC

Is it true that UBC med prefer students from UBC undergrad? I thought they treat all undergrad schools about the same

Most of the people in my class are from UBC, but the main reason for that is that most BC residents who go to university go to UBC. There are also many from SFU. UBC med preferentially takes BC residents, meaning you were either born in BC and lived here for a while, or you have lived here for something like a year. You are still considered a resident if you went to highschool here, and did your undergrad out east. Hope that answers your question.
