Ultra-low price for a Whistler seasons pass--true?

Hi there,

 

I'd heard a rumour a while back that UBC medical students can purchase a seasons pass for skiing at Whistler for some ridiculously low price, i.e., $300 or so. Is that true? :rolleyes

Yep, it is true.

 

But it is not just for Med students, any full time student can get one. There is a limited number of these passes, and you have to buy it early (~before November). It is a full season pass, but I think there are some restrictions around Christmas.

I think that in order to get the cheap student's pass you must be under 25. I'm not 100% sure though.
