Guest yves m
Hey everybody, I have my OOM interview this weekend. I was wondering if they will specifically ask about the Nova Scotia health care system. I am from NL, so rural medicince (and all of the issues surrounding it are the biggest problems) but I am less familiar with particular NS problems. Any ideas? I am obviously being lazy by not researching it myself but a few quick points would be appreciated. Thanks!
Guest GP2B
Hi Yves, Although I think that a lot of issues are similar throughout the country, it might be helpful to know a bit about the Nova Scotian context. Background like our District Health Authority structure, Community Health Boards, etc. are described on the Department of Health's website (gov.ns.ca/health/about.htm). You might also click through some of the Media Releases on that site... that would help you to quickly learn about some relevant issues.
