OOP Interviews- Specific OOP questions?

Hello,

 

I was wondering if the ad com will ask any questions specific to OOP students. I guess I am thinking of things along the lines of, why would you move here from Province X? But if anyone knows any type of question that maybe asked to OOP but not BC applicants, please share... I know it is important to understand the unique qualities of each school, but what about place of residence?

 

Also, if you have any tips about how to best approach those questions...

Hi there Melissa,

 

When I last interviewed at UBC a couple of years back, I was asked quite a few BC-specific questions relating primarily to the health care issues specific to the province. As to questions of the variety: why move here, etc., you'd probably be best off considering answers to those prior to the interview as it certainly would be a valid genre of question.
