<title>practice med in BC</title>

<pagetext>Hi

A friend of mine has just graduated from med school in iran and she is moving to canada w/ her family. She was wondering if her degree is worth anything in canada. I'm pretty sure that she has to go through a process in order to be able to practice in canada, but i'm not sure how it works. Do her marks matter at all or is it just how she performs on the different tests here? also, is it possible that she could transfer into ubc med (3rd or 4th yr) if she decides not to take all the tests?
