Guest walkorbike
Hi, Kels2004, Here are some links from material provided by the UBC Student Financial Assistance Office. I am quoting liberally from it: Students admitted to the MD program at UBC will be automatically considered for UBC Faculty of Medicine scholarships. No student applications are required. UBC Affiliation Scholarships do require student application, which are available online at: affiliation scholarships. These scholarships must be applied for by June 30th. Other potential sources of scholarship funding can be found at: ubc med scholarships The Royal Bank is offering five entrance scholarships to medical and dental students across Canada. The application can be found online at: Royal Bank med school scholarships. I am certain there are many more. Good luck! -walkorbike
Guest 4EverRose
Just one note regarding the UBC scholarship that everyone is automatically considered - There is a thread in the UBC archive of this forum that mentions the top 25% of incoming students will get a scholarship: p084.ezboard.com/fpremed101frm41.showMessage?topicID=92.topic I will raise this up to Rosemary in the upcoming financial assistance seminar next Tuesday to see whether this is still true for this year.
