specific school submissions are confidential?

Recommended Posts

Hi:

To my knowlege, I don't believe medical schools in Ontario have access to your OMSAS files other than those that are intended for the schools in question and the reference letters.

Therefore, I think it's safe to write your school-specific statements under the assumption that other schools will not find out what you have written.

Hope this helps.

Hi there,

It appears, the only time that schools know any of your information with respect to applications at other schools is when you've accepted an offer of admission to an Ontario school. At that time, the other schools are made aware of that acceptance and you are withdrawn from consideration at their institution.

Cheers,

Kirsteen
