uofthopeful07
i was wondering if the schools i'm applying to will ever have access to my other school submissions. for example, i was planning on stating why a school is my first choice, but i wouldn't do this if other admissions committees would have access to this. bustylegs
Hi: To my knowlege, I don't believe medical schools in Ontario have access to your OMSAS files other than those that are intended for the schools in question and the reference letters. Therefore, I think it's safe to write your school-specific statements under the assumption that other schools will not find out what you have written. Hope this helps. TimmyMax
Hey, That's right, so feel free to tell every school you apply to why they're you're number one choice!!!
Kirsteen
Hi there, It appears, the only time that schools know any of your information with respect to applications at other schools is when you've accepted an offer of admission to an Ontario school. At that time, the other schools are made aware of that acceptance and you are withdrawn from consideration at their institution. Cheers, Kirsteen
