UofT dentistry

Recommended Posts

hello folks!

I was just curious about UofT dropping worst year if the applicants

have studied more than 4 years + @ the university....

Based on what they are saying, if I have 4 years of university

education they will only look at my best 3 years.

So if I have studied 5 years, would they drop my worst 2 years?

Or is it that they drop only THE worst year no matter how long

I have studied?

"The worst academic year will be dropped from the calculation of an applicant's cumulative grade point average provided that (a) the applicant has completed four or more years of university education by May 31st of the proposed year of entry, and (B) the year with the lowest grades is not the applicant's last year of study."

That is taken directly from the UofT admissions website. It says that the worst year will be dropped if the applicant has completed 4 or more years... There is nothing there to imply that 2 years will be dropped under any conditions. But if you are still unsure, you can always e-mail the admissions department.
