UBC's policy for dropping your worst year...

Recommended Posts

OK, I'll have to be REALLY honest now lol. University was a difficult adjustment, so basically I have failed all of my courses. But I've been showing some improvements - 3.0 on my repeated year, 3.7 on 2nd and 3.8 on 3rd. I'm currently on my 4th year and I am pretty sure that I can achieve at least 3.7 this year. Here is a question - will UBC drop my very first year? On their website, they said "The worst year will be dropped for applicants who have completed four or more years of college/university, provided it has at least 24 credits and is not the most recent year." So is this mean that I WON'T get my bad first year grades dropped (because bascically I haven't earned any credits)? If so, damn! That means I will have to give up UBC :(
