Justs wanted to give everyone a heads up. U of T just confirmed receiving my application.

I called admissions to ask how many applications they received for this application cycle

 

I almost hung up cuz I thought she was gonna yell at me. Anywho, she said there's 600 this year. I don't know how accurate that figure is but ....DAMNN

 

Thats a jump of 88 applications for this year. This is craaazy. I wonder if the cut-off for interviews will be increased or stay the same.

A jump of 88 doesn't sound too bad compared to increases seen for med school where increases in the number of applications can reach up into the hundreds.

yeah but the class size for dents is significantly smaller, so it's all relative
