Knowing your Interviewer

Hey all..

 

I was wondering.. when do we find out who will be interviewing us? Is it during registration? and do we know if the interviewer is a doctor, med-student, priest, nurse, etc... ahead of time?

Pretty much you'll find out when your interviewer introduces himself. lol

or herself. But yea, you are sitting in a room and your interviewer comes and gets you. Before that, you have no clue.

why idiot? My second interviewer didnt introduce herself at all in the beginning, so I asked her what she did at the end of the interview and she seemed pleased to talk about herself....

In the interview room... is the interviewer sitting at a desk.. and you're on a chair away from the desk? Or are you both sitting on chairs facing each other? haha... you can tell i'm a bit nervous.

In both my interviews there was a table. In one of them there was water on the table to take. They are very comfortable. At Toronto, it was just 2 chairs for them, and 1 chair for you, and an ominous black camera which we were told was off.

It's probably the best that you don't know. For some of my interviews I stalked my interviewer beforehand and tried to fit my answers to what I imagined they would have liked. It did not go so well, and I regret not being more myself.

 

Just relax. All the interviewers are very nice. My interviewers were both physicians but I'm not sure if that's the case with everyone.
