edge_w
Hi, I'm taking a bus in from Montreal tomorrow and I was wondering which stop I should take and then how to get to UfO? Any suggestions?
0T6
Option 1: Take a cab.. guessing it'll run you about $20 Option 2: Take public transit - if you go to http://www.octranspo.com and go to travel planner you can set up start and end address and time and it'll tell you exactly what to take. But from what I remember it's 2 buses, with a transfer at Hurdman (the big hub) and takes about 30 minutes.
Talon01
I believe if you head out the front doors of the terminal and head right, you'll come to an intersection with lights (Bronson st). If you hang a right (without crossing) you'll be at a bus stop. I think the 85 St Laurent stop here and it will take you right to RGN. Double check at http://www.octranspo.com/Main_MenuE.asp though! Good luck!
edge_w
Actually, for anyone coming in from Montreal, the bus actually stops, if you ask for it, at 'Hurdman Station.' There was a lot of traffic so I got out on a whim and then you just hop on to the '85 St-Laurent' bus, and it drops you off right in front of the building. Took 7 minutes and saved me 20 bucks! Blackkeys
Wow, sorry to see this one a little late, but maybe this will be useful for someone in the future... if you take the bus from Montreal, it stops at Ottawa U before proceeding to the central bus station. You don't have to plan any other means of transportation.
