U of A may acceptance

Hi, I was browsing old threads, and someone mentioned this in passing. I'm not sure if it's true or not, and was hoping someone could clear it up:

 

Does the U of A not look at current year grades when deciding who gets early (mid-may) acceptance?

Hey there,

 

One of the conditions that usually follows early admission is that you will maintain your GPA, which suggests that they might not look at your Winter semester grades for the May offers. Nevertheless, they do know your Fall grades (February transcript), and require official transcripts indicating your performance in both Fall and Winter (submitted by June 15).

Any idea on the dates that letters would be mailed out for early acceptance at UofA?

Hi,

 

The letters are usually mailed middle to late May, but don't hold your breath. A good number of letters are mailed at the beginning of June.
