John
How many students were accepted on May 16th? What about June 5th?
roycer
Approximately 2/3 (around 60 or so) of the successful applicants are notified on May 16th or possibly a day later. The remaining 1/3 (around 30-40) are notified on June 4th-6th, along with the applicants making up the waitlist (approximately 30).
liszt
A few more than 30-40 may be notified on June 4 as a number of the first 2/3 will have declined their seats.
roycer
How many days does the UofM give you to decide whether you are actually going to attend their university, after you have received an acceptance letter?
Vector
Not long enough: 2 weeks.
Fishy81
For those of us waiting on the waitlist, it's too long!
roycer
I guess 2 weeks makes sense. Those offered 1st acceptance receive their letters on May 16-17, which would give them until May 30-31 to make their decision. That should give the UofM at least a few days to update their 2nd acceptance list and waitlist.
