GABA Posted July 5, 2007 Report Share Posted July 5, 2007 I'm pretty sure of what I want to apply to and don't plan on applying to anything else. It's not one of the highly competitive specialties, I just can't see myself doing much else. With that in mind, would you recommend general reference letters or specialty-specific reference letters? Obviously, the latter are better, but... ...if you happen not to match, I'm assuming you'd have to get new, more general, LORs for the second iteration for whatever specialties are left.
