double-checking application requirements

Recommended Posts

hey, just have 2 quick q's, if anyone could help me out...

1. if one has a degree, then only 6 credit hours instead of 18 are required for humanities / social sciences, correct?

2. I've heard english USED to be required... for now, there is no more english requirement? (if there is still, half or full year?) What about organic chemistry?

thanks!

Just want to clarify, for the humanities / social sciences requirement, only 6 credit hours are needed if we will be getting a 4-year honours degree before matriculation? Or do we have to have the degree already before the application deadline?

doesn't have to be honors.

you just need to be eligible for the degree by the time you're accepted.

just for the record though... at U of Manitoba (probaby applies elsewhere), Biochem is split into 2 sections, and Biochem 2 requires that you take Organic Chem 1... so you do still need to take organic. sorry, didn't dodge that bullet!
