OOP or Quebec Resident?

I have a Quebec birth certificate but have lived in Ontario since I was 1. So I was wondering if I am considered an OOP or a resident?

Most Ontario schools don't even care about your residency or give an insignificant advantage. UofT, Western, Queens, Mac... Ottawa is really the only one that gives a major advantage depending on your residency status.

 

This is a major complaint from Ontario applicants if you looked around the forums.

Yeah you lucky. From ANY province other than Quebec, you will be fighting for 5 whooping spots at McGill... Their Out of province spots... With Quebec residency your fighting for 56 spots at McGill's MDCM program. Duel residency status is totally awesome!

there are alot of other loopholes, get ur parents to buy a residence in quebec..etc. but yea, its really unfair

lol, though some universities require you to be in the province for 1 whole year without attending a post secondary institution. And others require you to claim the same residency status on all other applications. Though Quebec and Ontario don't care.
