MCAT cutoffs

Hey guys,

 

just got mcat results back ... got a 9 physical , 10 verbal, 10 biological, and S. I think I'm still gonna apply but how slim are my chances?

very slim.

 

unless of course there's some weird post-double cohort drop in applicant scores... Western is opening up an extra 20-30 spots this year i think for their campus in windsor, but i'm not sure if this translates to more interview spots (since they already invite ~3-4x the number of ppl to interviews as there are spots)

Oh so if you're offered an interview, you only have 25% chance of getting in? That's not even that much better than the admission acceptance stats, whcih is like 10% right?

It works out to closer to 40-50%, once you consider all of the people who get in off the waiting list.

The last time UWO had a PS cut-off of 9 was for the class of 2005. The PS cut-off was the last section to increase to a 10. BS increased to 10 for 2004, VR increased to 10 for 2005 and PS increased to 10 for 2006.
