myc
Hi, I was wondering if anyone has the stats for the percentage of cegep students getting into medicine, in particular into McGill. The AFMC stats seem kinda inflated... Thanks!
MedPen
Chances of getting in are quite low, much lower than the chances of getting in after an undergrad! Unless you have a 36 R-score, stunning extracurriculars, and a personality that appeals to your interviewer, I'd say don't place all of your eggs in one basket. I was convinced that it wouldn't be so hard to get in, not easy per se, but not impossible. It turns out that it verges towards the impossible. But don't be discouraged. A couple of extra years in school never killed anyone, especially someone passionate about medicine.
