MilSarah
How was the WGPA calculated prior to this year?
Angelia
This is what the WGPA has been in the past: Calculation of the WGPA is as follows: For applicants who have completed and have been awarded a four-year undergraduate degree: year-two courses will count as a multiple of one; year-three courses will count as a multiple of two and year-four courses will count as a multiple of three. For applicants who are in the progress of completing year four of their four-year undergraduate degree program at the time of application: year-two courses will count as a multiple of one and year-three courses will count as a multiple of two. For mature applicants applying with a three-year degree: year-two courses will count as a multiple of one and year-three courses will count as multiple of two. Egorema@hotmail.com
Sorry unknown for not getting back sooner....Applying to Western, Queens and Mac... MCAT 12,10,10 S Western G.P.A. 3.89 Queens G.P.A. 3.75 (last 2 years) Mac G.P.A. 3.4 Knowing Mac is a giant long shot I'm just hoping to snag an interview at Queens and Western. If all doesn't go well however next year my G.P.A. should be stronger for most schools and allow me to try Toronto out who has said if I explain that my 2 first years were a result of lack of maturity and focus they make look at my overall G.P.A with an emphasis towards the end. I think u should have a good shot at both western and queens with your stellar MCAT score
headshok2002
So the posted average GPAs at NOSM (3.7~) have been weighted? I didn't realize that... I've got a bit over a 3.7 unweighted, so that makes me feel a bit better. Haha, still a long shot, though.
