Preq not Complete after undergrad degree

Hey, i completed my BSc degree at UWO (university of western ontario) and did all the pre reqs except for a full biochem. i have 1 semester only. Am i out of luck for UBC or is there some way that i can still complete it and apply?

I'm sure you could still do it and apply...I mean there's a number of individuals who complete degrees in non-science majors and yet still apply to UBC medicine. Sure some of them may complete the med pre-reqs during their undergrad but I'm sure there are many others who do it in an unclassified year. Check with UBC obviously but I don't see why one couldn't...

Hi,

I completed a BA at a US university and then 2 years later went to SFU and took ALL of the UBC premed requirements. I even had to take two classes at Cap College due to scheduling conflicts at SFU and those were accepted by UBC as well. I was accepted to UBC med and they didn't even mention the fact I took a little longer to complete the necessary requirements.

 

So just get them done, doens't matter where you get them done.
