RBC told me the same thing today. I have a cosigner, but I would rather not have one.

 

I think I am going to shop around. MD management looks like they have more experience with the medical community when compared to my small town local RBC branch... I should have known things would be weird when I went to my RBC and they lady said she had no idea medical students have a special LOC and I had to direct her to the website...

 

 

So I went to a "med student" RBC specialist associated with UofT. She set me up with a $150,000 LOC at prime without a cosigner within 24 hrs. So the person that helps you DOES matter. ;)
