Feel free to add to them with your own! I've taken the main points from http://www.mommd.com/medstudenttips.shtml - visit the article for some more depth on the points I mentioned. - Team up with classmates :study groups - Make a schedule that works for you: non traditional students study in non traditional ways! - Stress out with friends - Get Ahead - Don't Cram late at night - Bad test scores happen - Write notes- especially during clincial experiences - Talk to your patients and learn from the experience - Work as part of the healthcare team. - Stick your nose into topics that interest you - Show enthusiasim - Be confident and assertive - ask questions, answer confidently - Don't be afraid to ask for help - If you don't know, say you don't know but would like to learn. - Ask to do procedures or to be walked through the process whenever you can. - Feeling overwhelmed is normal - Enjoy the simple pleasures - Be "well rounded" -You can and will have a life - You can do it Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
